Home / Tropical RDA E-Cigarette in Canada: the compare shortlist

Coil life, liquid cost and the tropical habit

The honest read on tropical: 16 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.

There is no single best way to buy E-Cigarette in Canada. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.

If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

What a tropical RDA really costs in Canada

Ordering into Canada usually means waiting 3–6 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.

How we tested tropical in a RDA

1. Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
2. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
3. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.

• The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Canada, not a suggestion.
• Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
• Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
• Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.

Where tropical goes wrong

• Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
• Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
• Treating the advertised CA$55 entry kit as the real cost when refills run CA$1.87 per 10 ml.

The rules that apply here

Health Canada caps nicotine at 20 mg/mL and requires child-resistant packaging.

Packaging for tropical in Canada must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
