Plain vape pen E-Cigarette in Canada: the wholesale shortlist — Ilektronikosigaretoonline
Plain in Canada: 10 units tested over 2 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
What the label on Plain is allowed to say
We run plain the same way in Canada: same vape pen, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Plain in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Canada the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain vape pen really costs in Canada
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Canada that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within CA$2.34 per 10 ml.
How we tested plain in a vape pen
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 3–6 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where plain goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest vape pen available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plain tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Health Canada caps nicotine at 20 mg/mL and requires child-resistant packaging. Shipping of nicotine to Canada runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Canada sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
